English Interview

Interview with Jacob (Priya and Minh Tri)

Interviewer: Good Morning Mr Jacob! How are you today? Thank you for granting this exclusive interview with you.

Interviewer: Do you mind telling us what happened that day? We understand that the Mr Rellik was trying to hitch a ride from your family. Were you for the idea and why?

Jacob: No, I wasn't for the idea. We were near the mental asylum for the criminals, which was known as the East Suffolk Maximum Security Prison for the Criminally insane. The area was also empty. He must have escaped from there. It was too risky.

Interviewer: What was your first impression of the hitchhiker, Mr Rellik?

Jacob:He looks like a killer, a criminal! One that just escaped from the mental asylum. I'm sure.

Interviewer: Why did you attack Mr Rellik in the end?

Jacob: I wanted to save my family. What are the odds? He would murder us all! Did you see his smile and how he mouthed about he was going to kill me?

Interviewer: What happened after you attacked Mr Rellik?

Jacob: Everyone just hates me! No one ever believes me They sent me to that place again!

Interviewer: What did the people here in Farfields tell you about Mr Rellik? Do you believe him? Why?

Jacob: I saw with my own eyes, I heard with my own ears. I was never wrong! How could they not believe me! Especially lying about his name! I heard it! Clearly!

Interviewer: Can you tell us more about your brother Eddy?

Jacob: He was a big bully. He tried to bully me that day, trying to throw my treasured pen given by my grandfather to the railway track. I snatched it back and he just fell! The train came andd...

Interviewer: Thank you very much for your time.

Interview with Jacob (Gavin and Isabella)

Interviewer: Good morning Mr Jacob! How are you today? Thank you for granting this exclusive interview with you.
Interviewer: Do you mind telling us what happened that day? We understand that the Mr Rellik was trying to hitch a ride from your family. Were you for the idea and why?

Jacob: No. We were ten miles away from a lunatic asylum and during that time, we were also on A12, which is a long, dark, anonymous road that often goes through countryside with no buildings in sight. So it was one place in the world where you'd had to be crazy to pick up a stranger.

Interviewer: What was your first impression of the hitchhiker, Mr Rellik?

Jacob: He had a small face with a square chin and small, narrow eyes. His skin was pale and his hair was brownish-grey, hanging down in clumps. His clothes looked old and his fingers were unusually long.

Interviewer: Why did you attack Mr Rellik in the end?

Jacob: I was afraid that he was going to attack me and my family with the knife he had kept in his pocket and that was when I knew I had to do something and so I decided to attack Ian Rellik.

Interviewer: What happened after you attacked Mr Rellik?

Jacob: The car door swung open and in an instant, Mr Rellik flew out of the car. Looking back, I could see Mr Rellik being rolled over by the tractor trailer's front wheels.

Interviewer: What did the people here in Fairfields tell you about Mr Rellik? Do you believe them? Why?

Jacob: They told me his name was Mr Renwick and he was just a gardener who's car broke down and was trying to hitchhike all the way home.

Interviewer: Could you tell us more about your brother Eddy?

Jacob: They made me believe that he fell under a train and that I was the one who pushed him, which I didn't understand.

Interview with Jacob (Luke & Thurga)

Interviewer: Good morning Mr Jacob! How are you today? Thank you for granting this exclusive interview with you.

Interviewer: Do you mind telling us what happened that day? We understand that the Mr Rellik was trying to hitch a ride from your family. Were you for the idea and why?

Jacob: No, I wasn't because i thought he could have escaped from the lunatic asylum. I thought that it wasn't safe to pick someone up ten miles away from an asylum as there could've been a breakout.

Interviewer: What was your first impression of the hitchhiker, Mr Rellik?

Jacob: He looked suspicious with a long face and a small chin with small narrow eyes with a scar running down his face. He also had pale skin. his clothes were old and he had unusually long fingers. He definitely looked like a lunatic.

Interviewer: Why did you attacked Mr Rellik in the end?

Jacob: Several factors made me suspicious of him. I saw a bit of blood on him. The gunny thing was that his name spelled "killer" backwards. I also thought that i heard him say he was going to kill me. I saw a knife under his jacket too. It was either kill or be killed.

Interviewer: What happened after you attacked Mr Rellik?

Jacob: He flew out of the car and a tractor had been coming the other way and ran over him, I quickly explained everything to my father. In the end, I felt relieved.

Interviewer: What did the people here in Fairfields tell you about Mr Rellik? Do you believe them? Why?

Jacob: They told me that i had misheard his name and that he was a gardener. They told me how he got to southwold, and it was mud instead of blood i had seen. Also, it was not a knife he was holding, but a cigarette case.

Interviewer: Could you tell us more about your brother Eddy?

Jacob: My brother mysteriously fell off the train. The doctors said i pushed him off but i never believed them. Why would I? I loved him so much!

Interviewer: Thank you very much for your time.

Interviewer : Good morning Mr Jacob! How are you today? Thank you for granting this exclusive interview with you.

Interviewer : Do you mind telling us what happened that day? We understand that the Mr Rellik was trying to hitch a ride from your family. Were you for the idea and why?
Jacob: No, he was a killer! He was planning to kill me! At first, he seemed fine, but after... after a while, he became odd!
Interviewer : What was your first impression of the hitchhiker, Mr Rellik?
Jacob: Well he seemed a little creepy, but I just assumed he was like that. But.. But.. in the end he showed me he was a killer!
Interviewer : Why did you attack Mr Rellik in the end?
Jacob: He was threatening to kill me. Afterwards, when I wrote down his name, I realised it spelled killer the other way round in the mirror, not Rellik. And, he even reached into his coat and pulled out something shiny! So... I panicked and kicked him out.

Interviewer : What happened after you attacked Mr Rellik?
Jacob: He fell under a truck that was moving at 60 kilometers per hour and was turned into minced meat!

Interviewer : What did the people here in Fairfields tell you about Mr Rellik?
Jacob: They tell me that he was named Renwick and that it wasn't Rellik, and I didn't believe them as I felt it was a conspiracy between them!

Interviewer : Could you tell us more about your brother Eddy?
Jacob: He fell under a train in mysterious circumstances. What's more to say about that!

Interviewer : Thank you very much for your time.

Interview with Jacob (Ng Yun Shu, Marcus Chan)

Interviewer: Good morning Mr Jacob! How are you today? Thank you for granting this exclusive interview with you.
Interviewer: Do you mind telling us what happened that day? We understand that the Mr Rellik was trying to hitch a ride from your family. Were you for the idea and why?

Jacob: Well, it was my fifteen birthday and my parents went out with me to celebrate. When we were on the highway, I saw Mr Rellik. I... He should... never have boarded the car. My parents shouldn’t have let him in. No they shouldn’t. I knew something was wrong about him.

Interviewer: What was your first impression of the hitchhiker, Mr Rellik?

Jacob: I knew something was different about him. Everything about him was unusual. He had pale skin and extremely long fingers. I swear there was blood flowing down his hand. He was definitely a cold blooded killer.

Interviewer: Why did you attack Mr Rellik in the end?

Jacob: He... was going to kill us! I could see the knife in his hand so clearly... I knew he was about to strike. I had to do something before he made his move. Pushing him out was the only option!

Interviewer: What happened after you attacked Mr Rellik?

Jacob: I knew I had done the right thing. My parents were saved! But instead of my parents being overjoyed, they were terrified and shocked. Wasn’t I doing the right thing? I saved them!

Interviewer: What did the people here in Fairfields tell you about Mr Rellik? Do you believe them? Why?

Jacob: It was all lies... all of them! They said he was some gardener who went hitchhiking. Gardener don’t do that... it’s a conspiracy I tell you, just to get me locked up again. The cheesy story of the gardener who’s car broke down is ridiculous!

Interviewer: Could you tell us more about your brother Eddy?

Jacob: Eddy... I loved Eddy... why did he have to trip and fall? Eddy always took care of me... I would never have done anything to harm him. I don’t know why my parents said I did. They are all a bunch of liars, all of them, dad, mum... My parents caused his death... and now they’re blaming me.

Interviewer: Thank you very much for your time.

Interview with Jacob ( Wen Feng & Jia Yi)

Interviewer : Good morning Mr Jacob! How are you today? Thank you for granting this exclusive interview with you.

Interviewer : Do you mind telling us what happened that day? We understand that the Mr Rellik was trying to hitch a ride from your family. Were you for the idea and why?
Jacob : On that day, my parents brought me out to celebrate my 15th birthday. We had lots of fun and was on the way back when it started raining very heavily. We saw Mr Rellik and he wanted to hitch a ride. My father let him. But I objected!! I did not want him to hitch a ride!!!

Interviewer : What was your first impression of the hitchhiker, Mr Rellik?
Jacob : The hitchhiker is scary. He has unusually long fingers and also blood on his hand. He said that he was going to kill me. Well, he didn't say it but he mouthed it. He also took note of my every move. I think that he escaped from the asylum.

Interviewer : Why did you attack Mr Rellik in the end?
Jacob : He was going to kill my family. He had a knife in his jacket. He was holding onto it. I had to save my family, so I attacked him. I saved my family, I succeeded!!

Interviewer : What happened after you attacked Mr Rellik?
Jacob : Mr Rellik flew out of the car. He hit the road in a spinning, splattering somersault. A tractor trailer had been coming the other way and Mr Rellik's body got squashed under the wheels.

Interviewer : What did the people here in Fairfields tell you about Mr Rellik?
Jacob : Of course I don't believe them. Nobody can. They are just a bunch of liars!! They tried to make me believe that I was the one that pushed my brother onto the train tracks. They told me that his name was Ian Renwick, not Rellik. And they also told me that Mr Rellik was a gardener, the blood I saw on his hand was actually mud. They also said that it was a cigarette case Mr Rellik was holding, not a knife. IT'S ALL LIES!! You can't trust them!

Interviewer : Could you tell us more about your brother Eddy?
Jacob : Eddy was a really nice brother. He is so caring and kind. He helps me whenever I have problems. However, he bullies me sometimes, like all older brothers do to their brothers. I miss him a lot. It was a pity he died young.

Interviewer : Thank you very much for your time.

Interview with Ian Rellik

Nguyen Minh Tri

Interviewer: Good Morning Mr Rellik! How are you today? Thank you for granting this exclusive interview with you.
Interviewer: Do you mind telling us why you were hitching a ride on that fateful day?

Ian Rellik: I’m already dead, so why bother? Honestly, I suddenly had an intent to kill after killing a guard. It has been a while since I killed people. Also, I wanted to hijack the car and get the car.

Interviewer: What happened when you boarded the car?
Ian Rellik: I felt a strange atmosphere. It was kinda weird. Anyways, they treated me well, so no matter. As long as they don’t know about me.

Interviewer: What was your impression of the family who gave you a ride?
Ian Rellik: As I said, there was a strange atmosphere in the family, like they were communicating telepathically, however, I think they are arguing about letting me take the ride or not. Simply put, they weren’t agreeing with one another.

Interviewer: What was your impression of the boy who was sitting at the back of the car? What makes you say so?
Ian Rellik: I think he knows. He was staring at me from the moment I entered the car. He’s smart.

Interviewer: How did the boy attack you and what happened after that?
Ian Rellik: I guess I was just unlucky. The door was loose, he pushed me hard and i fell out. And slam hard onto the rocky ground. I became this form after that.

Interviewer: Did you see your own body after the death? How do you feel about your unfortunate death?
Ian Rellik: No, I saw my parts of my own body, like minced meat. My limbs, head flew in all directions. It kinda saddens me seeing my body in that state. I guess Jacob was smart, outsmarted me. I think I’d been living in the darkness for too long, I wanted to die anyway, I wouldn’t call it unfortunate actually.

Interviewer: Thank you very much for your time.

Interview With Ian Rellik

Interviewer: Good Morning Mr Rellik! How are you today? Thank you for granting this exclusive interview with you.

Interviewer: Do you mind telling us why you were hiking a ride on that fateful day?

Ian Rellik: I needed a lift because my car had broken down and i had to go to Ipswich to get some supplies for the next gardening competition which was to begin that evening.

Interviewer: What had happened when you boarded the car?

Ian Rellik: Everyone in the car didn't seem very friendly. They seemed as if they were forced to give me a ride.

Interviewer: What was your first impression of the family who gave you a ride?

Ian Rellik: At first i found everyone rather mean and unfriendly. Then when the man started talking to me, i realised that they were actually tired.

Interviewer: What was your impression of the boy who was sitting at the back of the car? What makes you say so?

Ian Rellik: The boy was rather strange. He seemed very frightened as though he was going to be murdered.

Interviewer: How did the boy attack you and what happened after that?

Ian Rellik: The boy just kicked me out. I was so shocked! But before i could understand what was going on, a tractor had made minced meat out of me!

Interviewer: Did you see your own body after the death? How did you feel about your unfortunate death?

Ian Rellik: Yes. I did. I regretted getting into that car. I felt that one should always do onto others what he wanted others to do onto him. So i am going to get my revenge... Someday...

Interviewer: Thank you very much!

The Interview With Ian Rellik (Marcus Chan)

Interviewer: Good morning Mr Rellik! How are you today? Thank you for granting this exclusive interview with you.
Do you mind telling us why you were hitching a ride in that fateful day?

Ian Rellik: It was my day off and I went to visit my buddy Greg. I also went to pick up some supplies for the garden before my car broke down.

Interviewer: What happened when you boarded the car?

Ian Rellik: Jacob the bou seemed to be very wary and suspicious of me but Mr Fisher on the other hand was cheerful and welcoming and asked me numerous questions about myself.

Interviewer: What was your impression of the family who gave you a ride?

Ian Rellik: The family was a nice one as they bothered enough to pick me up. They were also welcoming except for Jacob.

Interviewer: What was you impression of the boy who was sitting at the back of the car? What makes you say so?

Ian Rellik: He seemed apprehensive of talking, greeting or even looking at me. I felt he must've been pretty anti-social.

Interviewer: How did the boy attack you and what happened after that?

Ian Rellik: At first, I noticed him shifting in his seat but dismissed it as nothing. Then, he suddenly pounced and pushed me out of the car. I felt airless for a moment, then sharp piercing pain, a shadow, then darkness.

Interviewer: Did you see your own body after the death? How do you feel about your unfortunate death?

Ian Rellik: Thank you very much for your time.

Interview with Ian Rellik (Htet Wai Yan)

Interviewer: Good morning Mr Rellik! How are you today? Thank you for granting this exclusive interview with you.

Interviewer: Do you mind telling us why you were hitching a ride on that fateful day?

Ian Rellik: Of course, I don't! Anyways, my name is Mr Renwick and not Rellik, as called by that little devil. Okay, let us get back to topic. As usual, my Mercedes station wagon broke down that day and the kindness of a passer-by allowed me to hitchhike to as far as Southwold before we parted ways. Then, I got into THAT BOY's car, if only I hadn't hitched that ride, I would still be alive today. A careless me stepped into the car without noticing the little devil's weird actions and headed towards Ipswich. Argh...

Interviewer: What happened when you boarded the car?

Ian Rellik: Well inside the car, hmmm... Everything went well except that the fact that the boy was staring and acting weirdly towards me made me feel quite uncomfortable. His mother looked through the front mirror and mouthed the words, "ESMSPCI" which meant East Suffolk Maximum Security Prison for the Criminally Insane. From this small hint I knew that the boy had something to with it and I thought, " Perhaps, he might be the mentally challenged one." The boy continued his weird actions or should I call it suspicion and this made me pay more attention towards this mentally challenged boy.

Interviewer: What was your impression of the family who gave you a ride?

Ian Rellik: Again, I thought that it was a typical family having a fine family day out together. The parents were sociable and had no problems in keeping the atmosphere "up" by never failing to chat
away. Still, Jacob or whoever his name is, never ever, I tell you, ever stops staring at me, and it was pretty freaky. Sometimes, I really wonder what exactly is going on in this boy's mind.

Interviewer: What was your impression of the boy who was sitting at the back of the car? What makes you say so?

Ian Rellik: Like I said, he was a really, really weird one. All he did in the car was to stare at me, then... just push me out of the car, only to feel myself getting crushed inside out by a tractor. Nevermind, let's not cry over spilt milk and I guess it was pretty normal for a boy like him to do these things. Maybe, a little bit too extremely, you think so?

Interviwer: How did the boy attack you and what happened after that?

Ian Rellik: He just... just kicked me and unfortunately, the car door too gave way and there I was falling to my death within seconds.

Interviewer: Did you see your own body after the death? How do you feel about your unfortunate death?

Ian Rellik: Well... You wouldn't believe it but my luck was just that bad. I fell under the massive front wheels of the tractor or should I call it "meat-mincers". Again to my bad luck, the pain started from my lower body and before I knew it, I could feel my thighs literally breaking. Not much longer, the wheels crushed my ribcage and the most painful thing was that I was still very much alive! This was one of the moments where I just wished I could just die rather than suffer and endure the pain to my death. How I wished I had a fast and less-painful death!

Interview with Ian Rellik (Netraa)

Interviewer: Good Morning Mr Rellik! How are you today? Thank you for granting this exclusive interview with you.

Interviewer: Do you mind telling us why you were hitching a ride on that fateful day?

Ian Rellik: I am a gardener and I am working outside Lowesoft. As I was returning back home, my car broke down and I managed to hitchhike as far as Southworld. That was where I saw that car.

Interviewer: What happened when you boarded the car?

Ian Rellik: I was sitting beside the boy named as Jacob. His father asked me where did I come from and I started explaining about what happened. His mother asked my name and I told my name was Ian Rellik. She also told me that it was Jacob's birthday so I wished him.

Interviewer: What was your impression of the family who gave you a ride?

Ian Rellik: My impression was that they were kind to give me a ride. I was grateful to them.

Interviewer: What was your impression of the boy who was sitting at the back of the car? What makes you say so?

Ian Rellik: At first, I thought he was a quiet boy. But as the drive went on, I realised that he was suspecting me about something I did not do. I knew that something was wrong with him.

Interviewer: How did the boy attack you and what happened after that?

Ian Rellik: The boy shot out his legs and slammed into me, one on my shoulder and other just above my waist. I was thrown against the opposite door. After that, I hit the road in a spinning, splattering somersault. Then a tractor trailer came on the other way and I fell under its front wheels.

Interviewer: Did you see your own body after the death? How did you feel about your unfortunate death?

Ian Rellik: After I became a spirit, I saw my own body. It was awful. I felt regretful for getting into their car. It was just a bad day. I feel sad for my family.

Interviewer: Thank you very much for your time.

Interview with Ian Rellik (Ng Yun Shu)

Interviewer: Good Morning Mr Rellik! How are you today? Thank you for granting this exclusive interview with you.
Interviewer: Do you mind telling us why you were hitching a ride on that fateful day?

Ian Rellik: Well, my car had broken down near Lowerstoff and I was in a hurry to get to Ipswich.  It was my first time there so I asked a passerby, he said I could walk there. Who knew the distance would be so long? After walking for an hour, I was exhausted. So when I saw a car coming towards me, I decided to take my chances.

Interviewer: What happened when you boarded the car?

Ian Rellik: The boy sitting at the back of the car started staring at me while his parents asked me questions about my destination, name etc.

Interviewer: What was your first impression of the family who gave you a ride?

Ian Rellik: They were quite friendly I guess. The man especially. He tried to start conversations with me. Nice guy. On the other hand the woman was very suspicious of me, I could hear from her tone of voice that she did not like the idea of me hitching a ride on their car.

Interviewer: What was your impression of the boy who was sitting at the back of the car? What makes you say so?

Ian Rellik: He was a little weird, he kept staring at me as if I was going to eat him at any moment or something. His eyes were hardly off me.

Interviewer: How did the boy attack you and what happened after that?

Ian Rellik: The boy suddenly screamed and kicked me out of the car, my hands were in my jacket so I could not have held on. Who would have known that the catch would give way? So I fell onto the road and rolled backwards. I wanted to get up but a tractor trailer coming from the opposite direction rolled on top of me.

Interviewer: Did you see your own body after the death? How do you feel about your unfortunate death?

Ian Rellik: Just my luck. My body was so crushed and distorted that I barely recognised myself. This is so unfair. What did I do to offend the boy? What on earth is his problem? All I wanted was to hitch a ride to Ipswich!

Interviewer: Thank you so much for your time.
